Living in SLC in the winter has been like living in an alternate universe. Well, at least this winter, when it rained when it was less than 28˚ out and turned the city into a giant ice skating rink. Literally. I’d barely learned how to walk in the snow when suddenly I was skating down the sidewalk with some of my favorite gals during Alt Summit. You know, that conference where they want you to look hip & impeccable, i.e. NO SNOW ATTIRE. It would have been really helpful to have this tutorial before that day.

Im originally from the SLC area, though I live in Logan now and though there are many great things about Utah, the winter weather is not one of them! That ice rain was crazy, I had to chip a thin layer of ice off my car windows the next day.
ha! I love this, yes wearing heels and cute skirts was not the smartest of ideas in the ice! Maybe next year we wont venture outside…..but the company, food & shopping was definitely worth it!
