i was researching CMYK inspiration for our big day and came across this hilarious graphic of dog names for graphic designers on CMYBacon. so awesome!

the martha stewart pet line is pretty damn cute, and that’s coming from someone who doesn’t dress up their dogs. but living in a cold climate like utah, it’s inevitable to see pups dressed to the nines at the dog park. i can already think of a few that would look fantastic in some of these numbers. get yours today at petsmart.

we’ve been on the hunt for new dog collars for elli & andes, and while i was combing through the collections on etsy, i came across silly buddy – quite possible the cutest dog accessories i’ve seen on etsy to date. the little bow ties kill me (i can’t wait till we get our frenchie!), and the collars are all refined but super cute. check out the silly buddy shop here.

with a new pup in the house, we’ve been more and more interested in healthy foods for our dogs. after all, if we’re totally health crazed for ourselves, why not be just a little conscious of what they eat? part of that has been learning about how to make our own dog treats, and to no surprise, there are a gazillion books about how to bake biscuits, cupcakes, and more for your little best friend. beyond all the books, are the countless people selling their natural dog treats online. etsy alone has over 70 pages of dog treats from sellers. and then there’s the bakeries just for dogs.

are you particular about your dogs diet, or think it’s all hype? have you every tried making your dog special natural treats, or taken them to a bakery for their own little dessert? wheat free, raw, dehydrated – the options are seriously endless and i’d like to hear how you handle it for your four-legged wonder pup.

i love my moleskin notebooks almost as much as i love my dogs, so you can imagine my excitement when i heard that moleskin released a dog journal as part of their passion series. okay, i’ll admit, i have no idea what i would use a dog journal for. granted, it’s split into 10 sections to record whatever you need to remember about your dog: getting ready, personality, dog log, traveling, care and more. plus there’s over 200 stickers and the cover is embossed, so it’s pretty much a no brainer that any dog lover would want one. would you really use a dog journal to keep track of everything about your favorite mutt?
